Vote For Our Participatory Budgeting Project

The New York City Council Office of Chi Ossé announced in November the Participatory Budgeting. The district has $1 million to spend on projects designed and voted on by constituents, and our community participation is imperative. Our BSNBCS scholars have worked diligently over the last few months, spreading the word about gun violence and how it has ravaged our community. On Wednesday March 15, 2023, our teachers, staff and scholars participated in the District 36 Participatory Budget Expo. There, our scholars were able to speak to community members about our project and how it will benefit families. More importantly, our scholars were able to speak freely with Council Member Chi Ossé regarding their feelings on gun violence in their neighborhoods and other political topics. VOTE NOW!!
