Character Education at BSNBCS

Our K-8 program has a behavior management system created from the belief that all students can achieve at high levels both academically, socially, and behaviourally. In order to support each individual student to make gains in these areas, we follow what is known as PBIS, or a Positive Behavioral Intervention System. Through this approach we strive to communicate high behavioral expectations while recognizing and celebrating positive choices students make on a daily basis and every month or end of term with Community Meetings of celebration and Awards Ceremonies.
