Millie Garcia
Ms. Garcia was born in Bushwick Brooklyn. She began teaching at Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School in September 2014 as an Instructional Associate for kindergarten now for four years. She became the Kindergarten Teacher last school year. She was a Preschool teacher at New Life Child Development for nine years. She has her NYS Teacher Assistant Certification, Child Development Associate Certification. Ms. Garcia has her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts and Science and her Bachelor Degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Early Childhood Education from Touro College. She has completed her Bachelor Degree in June 2016.
She is planning on returning to school to pursue her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She was excited when given the opportunity to teach at Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School, it was a new journey on her road to be a successful teacher. She is compassionate, loves children and teaching.
