Michelle Malloy

Michelle Malloy has been a teacher for 5 years. Her path to becoming an educator began several years ago where she began working as a teacher’s assistant working with students from grades K-12, while attending college for a Bachelor’s degree in child psychology. During this time, she also worked as a tutor for struggling learners from grades 6-12. After her first year in college she realized that teaching was a passion for her so she began to pursue her goal to become a math teacher. She finished her undergraduate degree at St. John’s University in Math education and continued for her Special Education degree at Molloy College. She also was a head coach of Westbury High School Varsity girl’s basketball team before leaving to pursue her teaching career in the city.
