Faith Dempster
Faith Dempster’s six-year experience in the field of education as Title One Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and Academic Tutor has afforded her the opportunity to work with diverse students within New York City Public Schools, Yonkers Public Schools and Charter schools in Brooklyn, Bronx, and Manhattan. This includes working with Emergent Language Learners, providing the necessary support needed for academic success. Mrs. Dempster joined the BSNBCS school community in 2016 and is currently an RTI (Response to Intervention) Specialist. Faith studied at Herbert Lehman College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Science Degree in Childhood Education (Grades 1 – 6). Faith is passionate about teaching children and fostering healthy relationships that will help to build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow as learners.
