I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach the students here at Bedford-Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School for a sixth year! I was born in a rough area of the Bronx and I grew up wanting to give back to the City. From the moment I entered college, I knew that the way I would be best suited to giving back would be through teaching. I have dedicated all of my education, work experience, and even my free time to learning how to be the best teacher that I can be. I graduated from Binghamton University and the Binghamton School of Education with a Master’s degree and a N.Y.S. teacher’s certificate. Afterward, I travelled to South Korea where I lived and taught for a year and a half.
I have seen first-hand what kind of students our kids will compete with in the global job market. I am convinced that we can produce the most successful generation of Americans, if we are willing to work hard! I believe in my students and I will make sure that they have a safe, positive, and rigorous environment to learn in. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me anytime and I would be happy to tell you more
