I am excited to enter my 5th year of teaching and my 2nd at BSNBCS. I graduated from Medgar Evers College with a Bachelors in Biology and continued my academic studies at Touro Graduate School of Education where I earned a Masters in Childhood Education/Teaching students with Disabilities Grades 1-6. My passion for teaching comes from wanting to see my own children succeed academically. When my first child began school, it was a struggle for her and I struggled with knowing how to help her. I decided to become a teacher to learn the tools to better support her and help her gain confidence in her ability to flourish in school. My motivation and passion for teaching and working in schools came upon realizing that the same tools and knowledge I’ve used to support my children should be shared and used to support their friends in their classrooms. Elevate all children as I strive to do with my own.
