I was educated in the Caribbean country of Jamaica. I was one of the few children who started my education at 3years accompanying my only sister who was 5-year-old at the time. We mimic each other attending the same elementary, High School and University.
I enjoy school as it is a fine quality setting where I can evolve and develop in a society with young mind. The most challenging part of school was theory which include reading and taking long notes. I learn to balance this challenge e by taking on practical subjects such as mathematics and computer technology which made learning fun.
I am a trained teacher and my area of specialty is mathematics and computer technology. My teaching experience spans over 11 years at the secondary level in the Jamaican school system and 3years teaching Mathematics (Algebra1) at the middle school level in New York. My teaching experience have given me the opportunity to encourage and mold young minds. My greatest joy is to see a child matriculating from either a class or attending graduation who has overcome social factors such as poverty and low esteem to achieve greatness. The joy of their success makes teaching priceless.
