Mrs. Garcia has been an educator for over a decade. As a Brooklyn born native, she attended schools in the NYC public school system. From childhood, she has always been interested in and devoted to teaching. She officially began her teaching career in Harlem, NY and later relocated to her native roots, “Brooklyn.” She has worked with grades 1st through 5th. In addition, she has served as a mentor to new teachers and lead teacher of various grade levels. Mrs. Garcia has been a Response to Intervention Specialist (RTI), as well as RTI Coordinator. This school year, Mrs. Garcia is ecstatic to continue her career with the BSNBCS family (staff, parents/guardians and most of all students), operating as the Lower School Assistant Principal.
