We are very pleased to announce our partnership with Hillard Elementary, a Houston school that sustained significant damage from Hurricane Harvey and whose families need a little help in their recovery.
After a conversation with their principal, we learned that they were in dire need of socks, and this is why we are having a sock drive. If each student and staff member brings one new pair of socks in their size to the drive, each Hillard student and staff member will receive one clean, new, fresh pair of socks. Socks will be collected by first period teachers until Friday, October 6th.
Be on the lookout for other initiatives to support our Puerto Rican friends and families who suffered from hurricanes Irma and Maria.
