Vicky D’Anjou-Pomerleau is a native of Montréal, Québec. Her interest in social psychology led her to New York City where she completed a Masters at Hunter College. She continued her graduate work at Stony Brook University’s Political Science Department where she learned how to use exciting statistical methods and earned a Masters degree in 2012. As the Chief Development Officer, Ms. D’Anjou-Pomerleau works behind the scene to build partnerships with community stakeholders and provide BSNBCS scholars with diverse learning experiences. Having been a scout for more than 10 years, she strongly believes that serving one’s community is a great way to learn about the world and oneself. This is why she is so passionate about Bedford Stuyvesant New Beginnings’ mission to prepare students to become responsible citizens of the global community. In her spare time, Ms. D’Anjou-Pomerleau designs and crafts ceramics, practices yoga, writes to her grand-mother, and feeds her hungry friends.
